Dr. Vladimir P. Beškoski is full professor from the UBFC. He finished his PhD in 2011 on the study of the activities of microorganisms and their application in bioremediation. As Invited foreign researcher (Postdoc equivalent), he spent more than a year at the Kobe University, Japan, researching biodegradation of PFAS. Since 2011, he works at the UBFC. He is the president of the Environmental Chemistry Division of the Serbian Chemical Society and national representative in IUPAC (Division VI Division of Chemistry and the Environment (DCE)). Presently he is a Project leader of Horizon Europe project "PFAStwin", project funded by multinational company Solvay "VISION", and "EnviroImprove" project funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). In the past he was a project leader for one national Proof of Concept project funded by Innovation fund of Republic of Serbia, three international and three national projects, among other III43004 financed by Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia. Also, he is member of the H2020 RIA project BioICEP. He is author of 68 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and three book chapters, with total citations 835 and h-index=17 (Scopus database), (ORCID: 0000-0002-6372-4706).
